Stacy: I was so pleasantly surprised when I discovered the dehydrate setting on my toaster oven. It’s rather low-capacity, but it does a great job.

I had a dehydrator and loved to dry many kinds of vegetables. It has since gone to dehydrator heaven and I’ll have to wait until I can save even money before I get another.

This is such a great idea. We would certainly love to prolong the shelf life of some of our fruits and veggies in our home. My husband and daughter also love dried fruits.
